Kristian Bruun is currently in production on “Carter,” Sony’s upcoming procedural drama series with Jerry O’Connell and Sydney Tamiia Poitier, and most recently he starred as Donnie Hendrix in BBC America’s award-winning hit sci-fi series “Orphan Black.” The Toronto-born actor also recurred for five seasons on CBC’s “Murdoch Mysteries,” playingConstable “Slugger” Jackson. Recent TV appearances include J.J. Abrams and Stephen King’s “11.22.63” with James Franco, and Hulu’s Emmy nominated adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” starring Elisabeth Moss. Kristian’s notable film credits include Slamdance ‘16 Official Selection, How To Plan An Orgy In A Small Town directed by Jeremy LaLonde and Berlin ‘15 Official Selection, Life, the James Dean biopic directed by Anton Corbijn, starring Robert Pattinson, Dane DeHaan, and Sir Ben Kingsley. Upcoming projects include Amy Jo Johnson’s directorial debut, The Space Between, Jeremy LaLonde’s next feature The Go-Getters as well as Mary Goes Round directed by Molly McGlynn and starring Aya Cash. He is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, Queen’s University and the George Brown Theatre School. Kristian lives in Los Angeles and is a citizen of Canada and Finland.
